How many of us have heard the lament that,
even though we’re in Malaysia, it’s actually
difficult to find gourmet level Malay food,
that it’s easier to find exceptional Italian or Chinese
than the indigenous cuisine that made this country
famous for food? Where to find the rendang that
is a famous meat dish, that can only be found in
Malaysia’s best kitchens, where are the coconut
infused recipes that make a Malaysian’s heart race
in anticipation?
Luckily a small and dedicated eatery named
enak has set out to diffuse that opinion by being
a Malay kitchen of the highest quality. Based on
family recipes that have been handed down through
generations, enak is a place where the relaxed,
windy style of old Malay meets exciting creations
served from their creative kitchen. Located in the
convenience of Starhill’s Feast Village, enak is a
welcome addition to the dining map of KL.
